Jammu, Dec. 18 -- The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Jammu and Kashmir has arrested the owner of a Delhi-based pharmaceutical firm in connection with multiple cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, officials said on Thursday.

The accused has been identified as Jatish Babbar, son of Harish Babbar, a resident of South Delhi and owner of Sakshi Pharma, they said.

According to officials, Babbar is already named in three NDPS cases registered at Police Station ANTF, Jammu - FIR No. 45 of 2020, FIR No. 04 of 2021 and FIR No. 06 of 2021. All the cases have been registered under Sections 8, 21, 22 and 29 of the NDPS Act, they added.
