Srinagar, Aug. 14 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has convened an important meeting on Wednesday to address the increase in terror-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources said that the meeting, taking place at South Block, includes National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, and heads of other security agencies.

They said that the Defence Secretary and Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) are also in attendance.

Meanwhile, multiple search operations are underway across Jammu and Kashmir, including in Doda, Anantnag, and Udhampur, to eliminate terrorists.
