Kupwara, Oct. 6 -- District Disaster Management Authority Kupwara has issued a weather advisory in light of ongoing moderate to heavy rain and snowfall in the district due to an active western disturbance.

Residents, especially those in vulnerable and hilly areas such as Keran, Karnah, Machil, and other locations near rivers, nallahs, and landslide-prone zones, are advised to avoid avalanche-prone and slippery areas and refrain from unnecessary travel until weather conditions improve.
