Kathua July 0, July 3 -- District Development Commissioner, Om Parkash Bhagat today conducted extensive tour of tehsil Lohai- Malhar and inspected development works taken up by RDD, PWD, PMGSY and other departments in the area.

Interacting with the Panchayat representatives, the DDC stressed upon them to take active part in planning and execution of development projects in their respective areas. He directed the departments to formulate the projects in consultation with elected members of panchayats.

He directed engineers of PMGSY, PWD(R&B) to expedite the road works to improve the connectivity scenario of this remote tehsil.
