Srinagar, Dec. 17 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo on wednesday visited Gangbugh area of the City and conducted an on-site inspection of developmental projects to assess their progress and ensure timely completion aimed to improve civic amenities in the area.

Besides, Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar and Joint Commissioner SMC, Nuzhat Qureshi, Superintendent Engineers of UEED, R&B and SMC, Executive Engineers R&B & PCD-I, Tehsildar South among others accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the work on the dewatering station being executed at the cost of Rs 1.16 crore to improve the civic amenities in the low-lying area of the City.
