Kupwara, May 19 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements for celebration of annual Kheer Bhawani Mela at Tikker Kupwara.

A threadbare discussion was held on availability of power and water supply, health care facilities, security and sanitation, essential commodities and other arrangements to ensure smooth celebration of the Mela Kheer Bhawani by the devotees.

DC directed the concerned departments for making necessary arrangements for uninterrupted power and drinking water supplies, transport, security, ration, medical facilities, sanitation in and around the temple and other arrangements.
