Ganderbal, Jan. 6 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore Tuesday convened a meeting to review the progress of projects being executed under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) under NABARD in the district.

At the outset, Assistant General Manager, NABARD, briefed the chair on the scope and eligible components under RIDF, which include agriculture and allied sectors, social sector initiatives and rural connectivity.

During the meeting, AGM NABARD advised departments to ensure pre-submission preparedness, including detailed surveys, accurate cost estimates, obtaining administrative approvals and technical sanctions, and securing land and forest clearances, to ensure project readiness before submission to NABARD....
