Budgam, Dec. 24 -- Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr Bilal Mohideen Bhat, on Wednesday said that the district administration has approved major restoration and relief measures following flood-related damage to infrastructure in Chadoora and Panzan, with works worth nearly ?6 crore sanctioned.

Speaking to reporters as per KNS, Dr Bhat said the bridge at Chadoora suffered significant damage during the floods, including the tilting of its middle abutment. A technical inspection was carried out, and a preliminary report has been submitted by the NIT team, on the basis of which further corrective measures will be finalized in the coming days.
