Jammu, Sept. 7 -- Baramulla, September 07 (KNS) : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa, along with a team of officers, today conducted a comprehensive field visit to Warapora, Mahrajpora, Haritaar, and adjoining areas of Sub-Division Sopore to inspect bunds along the River Jhelum and Wular Lake, besides assessing water-logged locations.

During the visit, the DC assured that the situation is under control with no alarming concerns. He informed that while some waterlogging has been reported in parts of Warapora due to rise of water levels in Wular lake, residential areas, including Haritaar, remain completely safe.
