A day before his daughter's wedding, a father in Hajinar, Karnah, watched helplessly as relentless cross-border shelling turned years of hard work, savings, and dreams into dust.
Nazir Ahmad Mir, a resident of the Hajinar village of Karnah in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, lost everything he had prepared for the wedding of his daughter, Bisma Nazir, scheduled to take place on May 10.
