Srinagar, Nov. 19 -- Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Tuesday slammed the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) for cancelling/deferring the interviews of candidates who had applied for academic posts for medical colleges.

In a statement issued to KNS, DAK said the interviews which were being held at JKPSC office in Jammu were suddenly cancelled on Monday morning without any prior notice/information to the aspiring candidates.

President DAK said the cancellation of interviews has caused immense inconveniences to the aspirants who had travel to Jammu amid harsh weather from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir to appear for the interviews.

DAK called the untimely decision irresponsible and uncalled for.
