Srinagar, July 3 -- The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against a man accused of using fake medical certificates to secure a government job at a prominent Srinagar hospital.
The accused, Numan Farooq Wani, son of Late Farooq Ahmad Wani and a resident of Abu Bakar Lane, Umarabad Zainakote, Srinagar, is alleged to have submitted forged medical documents, including a fake Medical Council of India (MCI) registration certificate, to get employed at SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina.
According to the Crime Branch, a case (FIR No. 01/2023 under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, and 201 of the RPC) was registered after a complaint revealed that Wani had been working at SKIMS Bemina since December 2016....
