Srinagar, Aug. 21 -- In a significant move to strengthen the response against human trafficking, the Crime Branch Headquarters of Jammu & Kashmir Police, in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, organized a one-day UT-level conference on Anti-Human Trafficking at Tagore Hall, Srinagar.
The conference aimed at raising awareness among students and the general public regarding the growing threat of human trafficking, especially in the context of the digital era. The event witnessed the participation of a wide spectrum of stakeholders including senior police officers, judicial officers, government departments, NGOs, academicians, and students.
