Srinagar, Aug. 5 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Kashmir has secured convictions in two separate criminal cases related to fraud and forgery, marking a significant step in the agency's ongoing efforts to tackle economic crimes in the region.

In the first case, the Court of City Judge Srinagar convicted two individuals - Mukhtar Ahmad Guroo and Nazir Ahmad Guroo, sons of Gulla Mohammad Guroo, residents of Abi-Karpora, Nehru Park Dalgate Srinagar - in connection with FIR No. 24/2008 registered under Sections 420 and 109-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC).
