Jammu, Dec. 16 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, Bhim Sen Tuti on Tuesday said that a cop has been killed in the ongoing encounter with terrorists in Udhampur district, while terrorists have fled toward the dense forest after initial firefight.

Talking to media, Bhim Sen Tuti said the operation began on Tuesday in Soan village after intelligence was received about the presence of terrorists. A small team of the Special Operations Group moved into the area and came under fire.
