Srinagar, Jan. 25 -- Awami Itehad Party today strongly condemned the continued incarceration of its leaders including Party Supremo Er Rashid,who is lodged in Tihar Jail since August 5th last year, a party statement said.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the party top brass slammed the Present day Government for its politics of intolerance and witch-hunt.
"The manner in which Modi led Government wants every pro-people voice in Kashmir behind the bars is not only appalling but shameless to say the least. It is unbecoming of a country which calls itself a democracy to treat common citizens the way it has been done since abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A," it said.
