Doda, Feb. 18 -- As the Congress statehood movement gained momentum, the JKPCC Chief Shri Tariq Hameed Karra has today hit out at the centre blaming it of flouting even Supreme Court directions for early restoration of statehood to J&K and if the demand is not conceded early,the Congress shall not hesitate to take to streets.

Addressing an impressive workers rally at Doda Dak Bunglow today,Shri Karra said that centre had committed before supreme Court to grant statehood " Very soon " apart from on the floor of parliament over five years ago but neither " Very soon" Is being understood nor the appropriate time, being quoted time and again by centre & bjp leaders is understood by the people,since statehood not restored so far.
