KULGAM, June 28 -- Congress leaders Tariq Hameed Karra, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), and G.A. Mir, CLP Leader and AICC General Secretary, addressed a large workers' convention in Chawalgam, Kulgam on Saturday. The event marked the official launch of the Congress Party's state-wide campaign, "Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq" (Our State, Our Right), which demands the restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

Hundreds of Congress workers and supporters from Kulgam and across South Kashmir gathered at the convention, showing strong grassroots support for the campaign.
