Srinagar, Jan. 8 -- A cold wave continued to grip Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Thursday, with several places recording the lowest temperatures of the season, officials said. In the Kashmir Valley, sub-zero temperatures prevailed across most districts. Srinagar recorded a minimum of minus 5.1 degrees Celsius, while the airport settled at minus 6.8 degrees. Qazigund and Budgam registered minus 5.4 degrees each, while Pahalgam recorded minus 8.6 degrees. Gulmarg, a key tourist destination, registered a low of minus 9.2 degrees, while Sonamarg recorded minus 9.8 degrees.
