Bandipora, July 24 -- In a move aimed at improving punctuality and accountability within the Health Department, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Bandipora has issued a circular directing all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to ensure strict adherence to the Aadhaar-enabled Biometric Attendance System (BAS) for all employees across health institutions in the district.

The directive comes in the wake of reports that many employees have not been marking their attendance regularly through the BAS system, undermining efforts to maintain transparency in government functioning.
