Srinagar, July 18 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a public grievance hearing at his Srinagar Raabita office on Thursday as part of the government's weekly outreach programme. A number of individuals and delegations from across Jammu and Kashmir met the Chief Minister to share their issues and demands.

Among the visitors was Prof. Iqbal S. Hasnain, Padma Shri awardee and Member of the Board of Trustees at the National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, Oman. He presented his book "Fault Lines in the Faith" to the Chief Minister. Prof. Hasnain also serves on the Executive Committee of Hamdard University and the Indian Mountaineering Foundation.
