Gulmarg, Sept. 1 -- Tourists arriving in Gulmarg this season are being greeted with lush meadows, pristine surroundings and improved facilities, a transformation that has drawn praise from both visitors and locals.

Often described as the crown of Kashmir, Gulmarg has seen a visible improvement in sanitation and greenery in recent weeks.

Officials of the Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA) said regular cleanliness drives, uninterrupted drinking water supply and upkeep of essential services have been prioritised.
