New Delhi, Nov. 18 -- The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday issued an advisory to private satellite television channels, directing them to avoid broadcasting material related to recent incidents, including the Red Fort blast case, that could influence public order.

The Ministry said it had reviewed certain broadcasts in which individuals allegedly connected to the Red Fort blast were presented in a manner that could be interpreted as support for violent acts. It also noted instances where channels aired clips or information that resembled instructions on preparing explosive devices, which the Ministry said could lead to misuse.
