Jammu, May 10 -- Srinagar, May 10 (KNS) In a significant development, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah welcomed the resumption of ceasefire between India and Pakistan, stating that the move-though much needed-came a few days too late to prevent the tragic loss of precious lives across border areas.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), CM Omar Abdullah on Saturday confirmed that the Pakistani Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) had reached out to his Indian counterpart, signaling a formal resumption of the ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control.
