Srinagar, Dec. 5 -- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) on Friday convened an Executive Committee meeting in Srinagar, attended by Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javid Rana, Advisor to Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, and Joint Director Tourism Kashmir Waseem Raja.
CCIK President Tariq Rashid Ghani welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted pressing concerns over the ongoing slowdown in Kashmir's tourism sector. He emphasized the need for renewed promotional campaigns, particularly in South Indian states, to attract more visitors and revive the industry.
