New Delhi, Nov. 12 -- The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort on November 10, terming it a heinous act of terror carried out by anti-national elements.

During the meeting, the Cabinet observed a two-minute silence in memory of the victims and unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the attack. The explosion, which occurred on the evening of November 10, claimed several lives and left many others injured.
