Shopian, Jan. 25 -- (KNS) Shopian continues to reel under heavy snowfall, with many vital roads, including key link routes, remaining uncleared, leaving residents stranded and facing acute drinking water shortages, senior PDP leader and former MLA Muhammad Yusuf Butt said on Sunday. Speaking to reporters, Butt, who also serves as Additional General Secretary of the party, said the situation on the ground exposes the gap between official claims of winter preparedness and reality. "Despite repeated assertions by authorities, people are struggling for basic necessities.
