Srinagar, Oct. 20 -- After filing his nomination papers, PDP leader Aga Muntazir on Monday said that his focus is on addressing the basic needs of the people of Budgam ahead of the by-election.
Speaking to Kashmir News Service(KNS), Muntazir said the PDP has given him the responsibility to work for the welfare of the constituency. "The seat was left vacant for a year. Our responsibility is to provide relief to the people of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
Muntazir pointed to issues of water and road infrastructure in Budgam. "More than 60 percent of residents still drink contaminated water. Road conditions remain a problem. Our aim is to address these fundamental concerns before moving to larger projects," he added.
