Jalandhar, June 21 -- A group of 14 students, recently evacuated from Iran amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, found themselves stranded in the sweltering heat on the highway between Jalandhar and Pathankot after their bus broke down multiple times.
The passengers, mostly girls with only one male among them, were reportedly left without proper ventilation or basic amenities. According to the students, the bus suffered three mechanical failures, and despite three separate mechanics inspecting the vehicle, no effective solution was provided.
