Srinagar, Jan. 8 -- BJP general secretary (organisation) for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Ashok Koul, on Thursday said the party is committed to ensuring quality education for students in the Union Territory and ruled out any move to divide Jammu and Kashmir on regional lines.

Responding to question over the cancellation of recognition of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Medical College, Koul said there was no intention to "play with the future of children" and stressed that students should get admissions in different medical colleges within Jammu and Kashmir.

He referred to a recent press conference by the President in Jammu, saying it was clearly stated that the focus remains on safeguarding students' careers.
