Srinagar, Jan. 7 -- Cold conditions prevailed across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Wednesday, with several places in the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh region recording sub-zero minimum temperatures, officials said. In the Kashmir Valley, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.6 degrees Celsius, while the city's airport registered minus 2.2 degrees Celsius. Qazigund settled at 0.1 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam at minus 7.2 degrees, Kupwara at minus 3.6 degrees, Kokernag at minus 2.3 degrees, and Gulmarg at minus 7.6 degrees Celsius.
