Srinagar, Oct. 1 -- The Asia Cup title may belong to India, but the champions are still without their trophy and medals after a fresh showdown inside the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
During Tuesday's online meeting, BCCI's Ashish Shelar walked out midway in protest, accusing ACC chairman and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi of giving no clarity on when the silverware will reach India. Shelar later rejoined, but the deadlock remained.
Indian representatives Shelar and Rajeev Shukla pressed Naqvi hard, demanding that the trophy and medals be sent to the ACC office in Dubai, from where India could collect them. No assurance came.
