Srinagar, Feb. 4 -- Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid's hunger strike in Tihar Jail entered its fifth day as the Delhi High Court (HC) heard arguments on his interim bail application. Rashid, who was elected to the Lok Sabha while in jail, has been seeking bail to attend parliamentary sessions.
His counsel, Vikhyat Oberoi, stated that while a regular bail plea has also been filed, Monday's hearing focused on interim bail due to the ongoing fourth parliamentary session. "He was not allowed to attend the last session either.
