Srinagar, Sept. 25 -- A special session of the key members of the Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulama(MMU) was scheduled to be held at the residence of its head, Mirwaiz Kashmir Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, at Mirwaiz Manzil, Nigeen on Thursday.
In a Statement Issued here ,The agenda included deliberations on the concerns and reservations regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill, as well as the presentation of a report prepared by the Council's Muftis on the supply and consumption of rotten meat and related products in the Valley, in order to update the community about the current situation.
