Srinagar, Dec. 28 -- Prominent religious and social leader Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari has strongly condemned the organized attempts on social media to undermine the stature and position of the Mirwaiz of Kashmir, Molvi Umar Farooq.

He said that this campaign reflects the intellectual bankruptcy and shallow thinking of a few self-styled, turncoat and so-called politicians who have no real connection with ground realities, Kashmiri society or its religious traditions.
