In continuation of National Road Safety Month 2026, the Office of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO), Bandipora, organised a comprehensive Road Safety Awareness Programme aimed at promoting safe driving practices and strengthening adherence to traffic rules and regulations, especially among commercial vehicle drivers.

A large number of commercial drivers actively participated in the programme and were sensitised about the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the importance of traffic signs, speed limits, the use of safety devices, and responsible driving behaviour.
