On the directions of the Transport Commissioner, J&K, a team of the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO), Bandipora carried out a comprehensive traffic checking drive on the Hajin-Sumbal road to ensure compliance with traffic norms and enhance road safety.
During the drive, more than 140 vehicles were thoroughly inspected. The enforcement team issued challans against defaulters, including 27 compoundable challans, imposing fines amounting to ?36,600.
