Acting on the directions of the Worthy Transport Commissioner J&K, the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Bandipora carried out a comprehensive district-wide traffic checking drive, aimed at tightening enforcement and promoting safer road behaviour among motorists.
During the operation, 200 vehicles were inspected, and multiple challans were issued for various traffic violations. The drive resulted in 41 compoundable challans, yielding ?49,000 in fines collected on the spot.
