Srinagar, Nov. 3 -- Rich tributes were paid today to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice while fighting a fidayeen attack on the Public Relations Office (PRO) at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar in 1999.

In a solemn ceremony held at the PRO office, officers and staff paid homage to Major P. Purushottam, Subedar Brahm Dass Sharma, and four other soldiers who laid down their lives defending the office during the terrorist assault.
