Budgam, Feb. 21 -- In a significant outreach initiative aimed at bridging the healthcare gap in remote areas, the Indian Army's 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) unit, in collaboration with the Health Department, organized a mega medical camp at the far-flung village of Chalyan Choontinad in the Charar-e-Sharief tehsil of Budgam district. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 523 patients, including women and children, receiving free medical consultations from a team of specialist doctors.
