Handwara, July 24 -- In a major outreach initiative, the Nougam Brigade of the Indian Army, in collaboration with Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara, organized a day-long medical and veterinary camp at Army Goodwill School, Nowgam, benefiting over 400 people from remote areas.
Senior doctors from GMC Handwara provided free check-ups and medicines in various specialties, including pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry, and general medicine. The camp was a significant help to underprivileged residents, especially women, children, and the elderly, offering much-needed healthcare access in this far-flung region.
