New Delhi, Nov. 17 -- Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Monday said the recent Operation Sindoor was only a brief preview of the Army's capabilities, stating that the operation lasted 88 hours and ended before the "main phase" could begin. He said the Army is prepared to respond if Pakistan creates any situation that requires action.
General Dwivedi was speaking at the curtain raiser of the Chanakya Defence Dialogue 2025 held in New Delhi. He said the Army's readiness remains steady and any future challenge will be met in a planned manner.
