Srinagar, May 27 -- Ddelegation from Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, led by prominent Shia cleric Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas, met with the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir,Manoj Sinha, to discuss key issues related to the observance of Muharram 2025.

During the meeting, the delegation strongly reiterated its longstanding demand for the restoration of the traditional Ashura procession route from Abi Guzar to Ali Park Zadibal, which has remained under official restrictions for several decades.
