New Delhi, May 21 -- Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, on Tuesday said that security forces achieved a landmark success in the fight against Naxalism by neutralizing 27 dreaded Maoists, including Nambala Keshav Rao, alias Basavaraju, the general secretary of CPI-Maoist, during an operation in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh.

In a post on X, the Home Minister applauded the bravery of security personnel and agencies for what he described as a major breakthrough.
