Srinagar, Nov. 19 -- Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Wednesday said the administration has completed all major winter preparedness measures across the Valley, with special attention on snow clearance, power supply restoration and essential services.
Talking to media as per KNS correspondent, Garg said winter stocking in border districts like Kupwara and Bandipora has already been finalised. "There are 872 designated stations where food grains and other essential supplies have been stored four months in advance. This entire process is complete," he noted. He added that LPG availability has also been ensured so that households do not face any shortage during harsh weather.
