Srinagar, Dec. 29 -- The All India Professionals' Congress (AIPC), Jammu and Kashmir Chapter, has condemned recent incidents of harassment and attacks on Kashmiri citizens reported from Himachal Pradesh and other parts of the country, calling them unacceptable and against the spirit of the Constitution.

In a statement issued here, AIPC J&K said that Kashmiris are Indian citizens and must be treated with dignity and equality wherever they live or work. The organisation said such incidents cannot be seen as isolated law-and-order issues, but reflect a deeper problem that needs immediate attention.
