Srinagar, Feb. 13 -- The Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) has welcomed the recent judgment by the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, which ruled that a passport cannot be denied to a person merely because of the involvement of a family member in militancy-related activities.
Reacting to the verdict, AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi criticized the previous regimes of the National Conference (NC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for subjecting people to unnecessary suffering by denying them their constitutional rights.
