Srinagar, Nov. 2 -- After the gap of over three months, Power Development Department (PDD) has finally started to deliver monthly electricity bills to its consumers.

Notably, after August 5 when New Delhi repealed special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution, normal life in Kashmir Valley came to a grinding halt. Authorities imposed restrictions to maintain law and order situation across Kashmir Valley and hence every kind of trade and business remained shut.

Reportedly the consumers in Kashmir have started to receive joint bill for the months of July, August and September.
