SRINAGAR, March 18 -- The Court of Adjudicating Officer, Srinagar today imposed a fine of Rs.1,52,500 on erring Food Business Operators (FBOs), Traders in Srinagar for violating various provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act.

Additional District Magistrate Srinagar, Syed Ahmad Kataria, who is the Adjudicating Officer, imposed the fine during adjudication of food safety cases. Kataria also warned food business operators that repeated violations of the Food Safety and Standards Act would result in the closure of their businesses.
