Budgam, July 28 -- In a significant outreach initiative, the Company Operating Base (COB) of 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Humpora Satmano, under the aegis of the Indian Army, organised a comprehensive health camp for both humans and animals at Haijan Branwar in Chadoora area of Budgam district on Monday.
A large number of villagers from remote areas including Branwar, Jabbad, Zilsidar, and Neegu availed the medical facilities. Army doctors conducted free medical check-ups and distributed essential medicines to patients. In a parallel effort, a veterinary health camp was also held where locals brought their livestock-such as sheep, goats, cows, and horses-for examination and treatment.
